Layout Information

The Better Late than Never Railroad is a modular layout that currently measures 11ft by 50 ft. It currently has 22 separate modules. The layout travels to three or four shows a year in the southern New England area, mostly Massachusetts. The layout is operated with a Lenz DCC system allowing us to have very realistic operations without the headache of toggle switches and miles of wires. The layout actually has 5 different railroads built into it. The first is the Better Late than Never. This Railroad runs from Procrastination CT to Brownsville NH. There is also a branch line that leads to Brevikston VT.  The second railroad on the layout is the Procrastination Urban Transit System, also known as PUTS. This is the trolley line that serves the city of Procrastination. The other three railroads are the New Haven, Boston and Maine and the Valley Central. There are plans to add two more railroads to the layout. The first will be an elevated steam railway in the city of Procrastination called the North Brighton and Procrastination Overhead Railway. The locals call it the Nose Bleed and Pass Out.  The second railway would be the Procrastination Terminal Railway that will handle Procrastination Harbor when it gets built.
